As rotating shift workers, new parents, and insomniacs painstakingly learn, the human body’s performance is dependent on a precise rhythm. During sleep, the body rebuilds muscle fibers while increasing metabolism. Slumber also improves concentration, attitude, injury recovery, stress management, and coordination. For those who aren’t kept from the opportunity to sleep soundly every night by unfavorable circumstances, sleep gives the body and mind a soothing sanctuary. When conditions like sleep apnea, however, threaten even those who have the time, serious consequences can result.

Sleep apnea sufferers usually snore in their sleep. Oftentimes, breathing may completely cease for five seconds to half a minute. This is caused by one of two things: an airway obstruction or a problem with the respiratory system. When something obstructs the airway, known as obstructive sleep apnea, cessations can occur intermittently for the entire night. Potential obstructions include swollen or excessive tissue in the throat, a large tongue, or a harshly angular jaw line. The less common kind of sleep apnea, known as central sleep apnea, is most often caused by a problem in the brain’s respiratory center. For whatever reason, compromised nerve communication leads to improper amounts of carbon dioxide in the blood and the same breathing cessations.

Besides snoring and related breathing difficulties, most other sleep apnea symptoms are indirect manifestations of sleep deprivation. Common symptoms include blurry vision, dulled focus, diminished reaction time, compromised judgment, and poor mood. While these symptoms are all recognized by the medical community, a slightly more controversial symptom remains contested: weight gain.

Does Sleep Apnea Cause Weight Gain?

To clarify, obesity and weight gain have already been verified as potential causes of sleep apnea. This is because excessive fat in the throat can obstruct the airway. Can it work the other way around? Pathologists and other medical scientists are beginning to believe it can for two major reasons. First, when a person recovers from an apnea, adrenaline production spikes. The sympathetic nervous system, which supports the “fight or flight” response people experience in life threatening situations, temporarily increases blood sugar levels by rapidly consuming carbohydrates. As a result, the body produces more insulin, converting the sugar to residual fat.

Sleep apnea also promotes weight gain by creating hormone imbalances. Serotonin, which regulates sleep, appetite, and mood, is not produced adequately in someone with sleep apnea. Other hormones that support sleep, like ghrelin, are also lacking in sleep apnea patients. As a result, the fatigued victim struggles to endure daily rigors, making unhealthy food choices to save time and hassle.

Will Losing Weight Cure Sleep Apnea?

The current understanding is that weight gain and sleep apnea are correlated both causally and reciprocally; each one is likely to bring about the other. Additionally, the above mentioned findings suggest that by curing sleep apnea, one may very well lose weight. Does it work the other way? Will losing weight be enough to completely eradicate all symptoms?

In the instances of individuals who have obstructed sleep apnea because of excess fat around the neck and face, weight loss is a cure. While neck fat may not be the first to go, it isn’t the most stubborn fat to lose. For people who have respiratory irregularities, the situation is more complicated. If the irregularity is caused by a neurological problem, losing weight is not likely to constitute a real cure. If the respiratory problems are caused by obesity and lack of exercise, however, losing weight could very well assist. The heart, brain, and bones will be better able to regulate levels of carbon dioxide in the blood once a person has increased their lung capacity and strengthened their heart.

Supplemental Treatment

More than 80 percent of all sleep apnea sufferers have obstructive sleep apnea. This means that weight loss is a feasible, affordable, and highly beneficial solution for most of this demographic. To augment the recovery process, both types of sleep apnea sufferers can utilize a CPAP machine. A continuous positive airway pressure machine uses a steady stream of pressurized air to keep the airway open all night. The user simply puts on a synthetic mask, often resembling the oxygen masks that hospital workers use, that is attached to a bedside module. With no pharmacological contributions, this treatment option is a much safer alternative to surgery.

Whether weight gain and sleep apnea are correlated or not, although the evidence strongly suggests that they are, maintaining a healthy weight is always worth prioritizing. In addition to possibly preventing or curing sleep apnea, exercise improves energy, blood pressure, balance, strength, flexibility, confidence, and overall longevity. When the successful stifling of snoring is added to this list, sleep apnea sufferers have no choice but to strap on the cross trainers or suffer the wrath of a sleepless spouse.

Snoring is not only bad for the snorer, but also for the person lying next to him or her. In fact, one study found 23 percent of spouses of snorers report having to sleep in another room because the noise got so bad

Bla bla bla…
These articles keep popping every day, but can they, please, get to the point? How can I, regular Mr. Dan, find a snoring treatment that will work for me, and not just for a while, but for good? I sure don’t want to read dozens of sites all over again when the particular snoring treatment I got doesn’t work anymore.

Know what I’m talking about? I know you do.

For those of you who looking for the regular snoring treatments stuff, I am not going to disappoint you. I’ll show you some new snoring treatments that I didn’t mention already. For those who don’t, you can skip to the bottom of the page ?

1) Several tiny implants could be placed into the surface of the mouth area to assist harden the tissue and clear the airway. Specialists say it has over 75 % success rate and only takes a few minutes. Downside: not included in insurance policies.
2) A doctor injects RF waves to the base of the tongue to really make it smaller and permit more air to obtain through. This might sound terrifying nevertheless its becoming increasingly common over the U.S.

3) Don’t drink alcohol!

4) Lose weight! You’re too fat!

5) Don’t sleep on Your back. There are “medical” reasons for that claim, but I don’t feel like telling you something I don’t believe in.

Those treatments certainly are drastic moves and changes, do you really need it? I’m here to tell you- you don’t.

I have tried several snoring treatments and a lot of them worked, but when I look back at those times, I know how much money I spent and how miserable I was inserting thins to my body, sleeping with a mask, wearing weird things and buying expensive pillows (although quite good).

In this post, I want to thank a reader of the blog- Jona.
Jona is an old reader who stopped snoring too, at first by wearing a chin strap and then by going the natural way. In the last couple of months, Jona sent almost 80 people to my blog telling them how my blog helped them stop snoring. They read the blog, chose their favorite snoring treatment and I got 27 emails from them. I know from Jona that out of the 78 people he talked to, 73 stopped snoring: 1 with the CPAP, 3 with mouth guards, 6 with pillows, 7 with chin straps and 50 of them stopped snoring after reading the book I recommended.
The 5 people who couldn’t stop snoring, didn’t take action. Too bad.

This shows me two things:
1) I actually help people. I’m changing lifes and I’m thankful for the opportunity to help you guys. Keep sending those emails.
2) 70% of my readers choose the natural, long term way to stop snoring. They choose the cheaper snoring treatment and they do well. I’m glad because I know they found a way to stop snoring for good and, they saved hundreds of dollars. Good choice!

Here is the post with the survey that proves the efficiency of books over products and devices as snoring treatments.

For those who don’t have the much recommended guide and want to buy it:

Recent survey: nearly three-quarters of people who try over-the-counter remedies for snoring find they do not work. The survey also reveals that they are still looking for possible snoring solutions.

A recent study tried various remedies including nasal strips and throat sprays that almost 2,000 of its users with snoring had tried.
Few offered relief and some annoyed the users’ sleep very much that they were unlikely to try them for a second time.
Experts said it was essential to find the causes of snoring before searching for solutions and remedies.

The spokesman said: “You may snore for a variety of reasons so getting a single remedy might not answer your issue.”

As an example, if you are lying on your back, you may be a tongue based snorer – when the tongue falls back and impedes your air passage.

Assuming you have your mouth open, this may cause the trouble. Or maybe it’s an issue with your nose, such a misshapen nose or small, collapsing nostrils, or basic congestion or catarrh.
Other elements can play a part, like sleeping position – lying on your back is worse – and fat or alcohol drinking.

The 7 devices tested by seven couples for Which? (the company that made the survey) included SnoreMender, a removable dental device to hold the mouth forward to help keep the airway open. All those are known to be “successful” snoring solutions and it was time to test if they really work and what people think about them.

While the tester found it worked, he said it was so unpleasant that he would be reluctant to use it for a second time.

In the same manner, Snore Calm Chin-up strips minimized snoring, but the tester suspected this was only because he was awake longer thanks to discomfort.

One more remedy trialed was Lloydspharmacy Stop Snoring, a wrist-worn device that provides the user small electric shocks if snores are detected so the snorer changes position without waking, there are stranger solutions, in case you were wondering…
The tester said she was woken 20 times in a single night and remained with marks on her hands as the pads on the electrodes didn’t stay in position.

Which? senior specialist Joanna Pearl said: “Most people can spend hundreds of dollars attempting to cure snoring, however in a survey of nearly 2,000 Which? online panel users, 71% found that the snoring aid they purchased wasn’t very or not at all useful, and those who said they were, mentioned that they were uncomfortable.

“There are no solutions for snoring that I can point or recommend because everyone snores for different reasons, and it’s crucial that you try and pinpoint why you snore so you can try the correct solution.

“Before you buy, see what you can do yourself and eliminate potential health issues such as serious sleep apnoea. Also, discuss with a health specialist such as a GP or dentist if it doesn’t get better.”

92% of the snorers can find their snoring solutions by training themselves not to snore. This can be done by breathing better, having a better lifestyle and do several exercises. There are few good books in the subject, but when I tell people to read they say it won’t work or that they don’t want to spend the money. (the spoken book)
Now you tell me- does it make any sense? they won’t spend a few dollars for a book that can change their life but they are willing to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars every year for a product that won’t be comfortable and may not work, I don’t get it. Those who listen, come back a month later with flowers.
Seriously, reading a book and implementing what it says, step by step can teach you how to stop snoring the natural way, without extra devices and without spending a lot of money, but I guess people are lazy, that’s the human nature.

Marianne Davey, of the British Snoring & Sleep Apnea Association, said there have been many factors that cause snoring, and a device would only stand a chance of working if presented to a patient whose snoring was a result of the specific problem the treatment was developed to tackle, but there are no magic snoring solutions, that’s for sure.

Simply playing and buying a device without first pinning down the reason for the issue was doomed to failure.

As you can see, specialists said it already, education is the key and this is the book that can help you.
You can do it. You CAN stop looking for magical snoring solutions, deep down, you know it won’t work.

There is a 92% chance that you can train yourself to stop snoring, but most people are too lazy to do it.
Don’t be one of those guys, buy the book, read it, do what it says and keep away from the statistics. Do yourself a favor, save some money and quit looking for magical solutions, they don’t exist

Once again, you can do it, but you must learn how. All those products are this survey proves:

They do not work

They are not comfortable

Most people can stop snoring by implementing a few simple things, and this is the real, long term solution. It will never stop working and once you know how to do it right, that’s it. No More Snoring

Before you spend hundreds of dollars on other things,

Buy The Book NOW!

What are the side effects of the CPAP machine?
We know it works and we know it’s not so comfortable. We also know that it might look scary for those looking, but what else?

The average user will use the CPAP machine because he has no other choice. Let’s face it, it’s quite a big machine and you feel like being in hospital when using it. Usually, CPAP users will be overweight and suffer from sleep apnea. You go to the doctor and here it is: you need to use CPAP.

I talked to dozens of CPAP users and here is what they have to say about the CPAP and its side effects. Here are their reviews:

” I have had my machine for over a year and never used it because i cant sleep with it on. well i have had some simi major health problems come to find out its from sleep apnea. so i started using my machine again 2 nites ago. i still am tired the next day but i think it takes time to adjust. do you wake up a lot in the night? if so the mask you have might not be the right one for you. they make different ones. might want to check into that. also my dr said that if i cant sleep with my machine i should try a mouth guard that is made for sleep apnea. might check that too “

” I have been using the cpap for about 6 months and still don’t feel refreshed after a good 7-8 hours of sleep. “

” I use a CPAP machine and its not the easiest thing to get use to but after a while you tolerate it and you manage to get to sleep with it on. The trick is to persist with it and not give up on it. Sleep Apnea is not dangerous in itself but it can cause very serious life threatening illnesses and the CPAP machine helps stop that.I havne`t had a side effects with it like blocked nose which you can sometimes get its just it does take a while to get use to it and feel comfortable enough with it to be able to get to sleep while wearing it. Good luck with it! “

” it dries my mouth and throat so bad. I have been told that I should use a heated humidifier, but it will still take me up to 6 months to get used to it. 6 month!!! that a hell lot of time, I think I’ll try the book you mentioned earlier. we’ll speak soon. “

” My CPAP machine is very quiet and never has disturbed the wife. In fact she was so relieved that my snoring and moving around has practically disappeared, that she too sleeps a lot better. Says the CPAP noise is nothing compared to my old snoring and rustling around habits. “

” I have been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. The doctor was trying to sell me a CPAP but I refused due to inconclusive tests. When I used CPAP a couple of times I did not notice any difference but rather discomfort. There are other natural ways to reduce sleep apnea such as exercising, meditation and other exercises “

well, here are the side affects I’ve been facing:
* Dry or stuffy nose
* Irritation of the skin on your face
* Bloating of your stomach
* Sore eyes
* Headaches

As you can see, some people do say the machine has worked for them, but it sure has some side effects, and i didn’t mention all the people who complained about the price and how much it is not comfort and ruin the sex life.

There is an alternative – there are other ways to stop snoring without the stupid CPAP which will cost you hundreds of dollars. Books are proven source of information for years now and they can give you the exact methods and tips on how to stop snoring.

Before you spend hundreds of dollars on the CPAP, read this post!

Why do people snore when they sleep? I get this question a lot lately.

You snore because the passage of free air in the respiratory tract is blocked. The medications for your allergy problems can dry the nasal cavities. This leads to a fitful night’s sleep and the person is chronically tired.

Breathing is renewed when the person briefly wakes. That’s a simple solution, but there are countless reasons why your airway gets blocked – the real cause of snoring.

If you don’t do anything about it then it can drive a wedge between you – so it’s important not to leave it too long. Resentment can build up and poison every aspect of your relationship Keep in mind that if you can solve this problem together then it is some thing that can strengthen your partnership and bring you closer together.

If you are a snorer’s partner, here are some suggestions for communicating with your partner about their problem, however, please remember that they are not doing it purposely. The turbulence causes the soft tissues vibrate therefore, they snore.

The first thing you need to understand is that people create this sound by the throat constricting while they sleep.

The cartoons got it right, this time. If your snoring is just nose snoring – often caused by sinus problems or a deviated septum, simple nasal strips can often solve the problem easily without discomfort. Every time you breathe your throat muscles are vibrating and when your airways are blocked or irritated – and when those vibrations are stopped – you snore. Other nasal causes can be a deviated septum (your septum is the wall that separates your left nostril from your right) or nasal polyps, which are small growths that change not only how air is drawn into your nose, but how much. When your nostrils squeeze themselves shut, your mouth opens and because your throat isn’t used to the change in position, you snore.

What can I do in order to stop snoring now?

1)Exercise daily. It is possible that your neck muscles are not developed enough to prevent or reduce the airway constriction while you sleep. If you are overweight, or simply have weak muscles in your neck, your airway could get cut off during the night. Exercises might help.

2)Try to sleep on your side rather than on your back.

3)Using nasal sprays and nasal drops could be a great help. Sleep apnea also puts stress on the areas of the body, especially the heart, which could have damaging health implications.

4)Something as easy as singing can help.

5)Read my journey. I stopped snoring by trying several stop snoring aids and I know you can too.

Good luck!

I began my journey to stop snoring 5 month ago and I tested 10 aids. Some of them were really great, some less and there were failures too. The promise I gave you was to test all the solutions out there in order to stop snoring and that’s exactly what I did.

The results:

I know many of you followed me till the end, so you know I did stop snoring and I bet you stopped snoring too, if you followed my instructions off course. For those who didn’t follow me- shame on you! Just kidding- that’s O.K, but I highly recommend it. It will take you only about 30 minutes to read the whole journey, but it took me 5, long months.

What aids do I recommend?

Well, the whole purpose of this blog was finding the one aid that is best for you, and I know you expect just one, but I’ll recommend 3 aids:

1)	The stop snoring pillow- I like it because no one will know what the real purpose of the pillow is and you don’t have to wear weird things on you. It worked for me and it will work for you, but if you feel like you are the worst snorer on earth, the next aid will do the work for sure.
For more information read chapter 7 in the blog.

2) Chin strap- That is a proven aid. It works for millions of people and it worked for me, but I can’t say it’s the best solution for people who don’t fell comfortable wearing it around strange people. Solutions #1 and #2 will be better for you, but if you still want this way because this aid is proven to be working, go ahead.
For more information on chin straps go the chapter 2 in the blog.

3)	The natural way to stop snoring- It works for people who are willing to train themselves. It’s very easy to follow and it’s also the cheapest method. I tried it and I stopped snoring very fast, but I know that it is not for everyone. If you think those “natural ways” are not for you, go with the first two recommendations.
For more information you can read chapter 10 in my blog.

You can get the posts list right from the beginning in here.

Thank you!

The past 5 months were an unforgettable experience for me and I really liked helping you guys.
In the past 5 months I got hundreds of emails thanking me for my help. Many people sent me pictures of themselves with the aids they bought and a thank you letter. I read them all, every email and every comment I got and they gave me the strength to keep going.
This is the best opportunity to thank you all. You guys are great and I wish you all the best. THANK YOU very very much, I love you.
This is also a great opportunity for you- Now that you stopped snoring, you must give the information in this blog to your friends and family, so they can stop this horrible snore. Just send them a link to the blog and the rest is up to them. If they really want to stop snoring, they will follow my recommendations and get one of the 3 aids above.

What am I going to do now?

I know I stopped snoring, but as I said, I like helping others and I want to help more people with their snoring problem.
My plan is to keep updating this blog with good information and maybe I’ll test new aids, in case I missed something.
If you have some aid you want me to test, contact me and I’ll do it.

See ya!

I don’t know why, but until now all the aids I tested are products you can buy and most of them do work, but is there another way? Can we train ourselves not to snore? The human mind is so powerful, why can’t we try it?

I grabbed my laptop and made a long research. I came to conclusion that we can solve the snoring problem naturally, we can stop snoring naturally, all we need to do is try. I kept looking and I came across several eBooks that were claiming to teach me how to stop snoring naturally, without all those sprays, strips and devices. So I began looking for reviews and after 4 long hours of research, I had a list of 7 good eBooks that were recommended by many people who said those books worked for them. I bought the whole 7 eBooks and I couldn’t wait, so I read them all, one by one. Those books contain so much information; I knew I can’t remember it all. I took a pen and I wrote every good advice I got from them, sorted by the book name.

I am sure you want to know whether or not I stopped snoring- I did! That leads me to one conclusion- YOU CAN STOP SNORING NATURALLY!!! All you need to do is exercise your brain and muscles, that’s it.
The authors of those books all had it; they were snoring just like I did, just like you do. Some of them tried the usual products and it didn’t work for them. That’s why the developed unique methods to train the mind and the body, and it worked for them just like it worked for me. It WILL work for you too, just try it!

Now I have 7 e-books that have good reputation and I read them all. They are all great, but I picked the best 3 eBooks for you, so I’ll be able to make your life a little bit easier. I’m sure you don’t want to buy 7 books like I did, that’s why I want to tell you which book contains the most valuable information, and here is my ranking:

#1- The Stop Snoring Exercise Program (49$)
#2- Snore Buster (47$)
#3- How to cure sleep apnea without CPAP (47$)

Why did I choose The Stop Snoring Exercise Program to be #1?

Well, I read 7 books and this one is the best. It contains 99% of the information and the methods the author gives are phenomenal. The author describe how he came to the idea and gives you a step by step instructions on how to stop snoring, just like 1,2,3.
The other books are good too, but I’m telling you, I read them all and this one is great. Just make sure you read it all, take the time, everything is going to be alright.

Do I recommend buying this book?

Yes I do, for several reasons:
1) It works. It worked for me, for my father and for thousands of other people.
2) It’s permanent. You don’t have to renew it and there is no product to fix or replace. Just good instructions and exercise that will last for good. Just do it once and forget about snoring forever!
3) It’s so cheap. How much will the CPAP cost you? The nasal strips that you need to renew? The pillow? They all cost hundreds and they won’t be there forever. This is a one-time deal and that’s it. 49$ and a few hours of exercise- it can’t be any cheaper.

I know you hate snoring. I know you prefer stop snoring naturally than any other product or aid. I know snoring Sucks!

I don’t know what else I can do, I promised I’ll find a way to help myself and the readers and that’s it, that’s the way, it stopped and I don’t snore anymore. You can too.

Don’t wait, get the book- Stop Snoring Now!

Mouth guard devices are also known as mouthpiece devices or dental appliances and they are meant to help you stop snoring.
People use the snoring mouth guards for years and there are many researches on them. Most of the researches indicate an improvement in the breathing process and a significant reduces in snoring. In some cases, the snoring was stopped completely, which is amazing.

The stop snoring mouth guard is just a simple dental appliance and it’s very easy to use. The mouth guard will fit himself to your teeth structure, don’t worry about that.

My review:

Just like all the other aids I tested, I had this mouth guard device for 14 days, that’s two weeks of using and testing in which I did stop snoring, completely.

One problem I had with it is extra drooling during the night. I know that’s gross, but I must give you an objective review right? I removed it in the middle of the first night because the drooling was so intense that I couldn’t sleep, but on the other nights it all went fine and I don’t remember myself drooling after the forth night. I guess it will take you some time to get used to it, but it will be alright in just few days.

Advantages:

1) Low cost. Very cheap.
2) Works! I stopped snoring immediately.
3) No one else can see it, so you won’t be embarrassed sleeping somewhere else.

Disadvantages:

1) A bit invasive.
2) Intense drooling in the first few days.

I believe I covered this product as good as I can.

The snoring mouth guard works and you’ll stop snoring. The rest is up to you, all you need to do is buy it and test for yourself.

Many people use pills, hopping it will make them stop snoring.
Stop-snoring pills contain natural plant enzymes and herbs that are meant to prevent throat and nose tissue from swelling. The result is an open and smoother airflow that helps reduce snoring.

Although the word “natural” is in the name of those pills, I can’t stop thinking of chemicals and how it will affect my body. In the previous chapters we already found some very good aids which will help us stop snoring, so why would look somewhere else for remedies? Aren’t pillows, chin straps, sprays, cpap and nasal strips good enough remedies? I think they are. We are spoiled and we shouldn’t be.

Anyway, the post says remedies and pills and I promised that I’ll cover all the aids and products out there, so I kept my promise. I will not disappoint you!

I bought anti snoring pills for 14 days and tested them. I did not feel side effects or something like that and the pills did work, I stopped snoring right from the beginning. My wife wasn’t happy with the idea, but I had to test…

Advantages:

1)	It worked.
2)	It’s cheap.
3)	It’s easy. Take and forget.

Do I recommend it?
I don’t know. I’m not a doctor and I can’t really say. My common sense tells me not to, but the pills do work and they sure are useful remedies– so I will leave the decision for you.

I know the previous aids worked and I’m going to test another one, starting from today. In two weeks I’ll post more information about it- dental devices.

What do you think?
Should we buy pills and drugs while there are other solutions?
